WWCR Attends B11 Meeting of HFCC/ASBU in Dallas, Texas, USA

WWCR was represented by Dr. Jerry Plummer at the B11 HFCC meeting in Dallas, Texas. USA. The HFCC meets twice each year to coordinate frequencies for the A and B schedules. Stations in over 100 countries are represented. This year's meeting was the first ever to be held in the United States. The relative proximity allowed WWCR's General Manager, Eric Westenberger, and Operations Manager, Brady Murray, to join Dr. Plummer at the conference.

The HFCC can claim its worldwide success over the years to its belief that that face-to-face negotiations among members lead to fewer frequency collisions. This belief, when coupled with technology, always makes for a synergistic and effective Conference.

The B11 meeting was hosted by the National Association of Shortwave Broadcasters (NASB), with additional sponsorship from the US International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB) and Trans World Radio (TWR). WWCR is a NASB member station and is represented on its Board of Directors by Brady Murray.
